Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide in-home total care for a pediatric patient in the Phoenix area.

The shift schedule includes night care on Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and day care on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Initiate the plan of care and revise as patient status changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor effectiveness.
• Review care plans and protocols; identify education, coordination, and discharge needs.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to physician or supervisor.

Hourly Pay: $38 - $40 per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with a total care Pediatric patient in their home. This patient is needing night care on Thursday 7:00pm-7:00AM and day care on Friday, Saturday, Sundays from 7:00AM - 7:00PM.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
