Hudson Regional Health in Hoboken, NJ seeks a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide medical support to children under physician direction. The role includes assessing needs, administering medications, and recording vital signs.

Candidates must hold an NJ RN license; BLS and PALS certifications are required. Day shift 7:00 AM–7:30 PM with rotational weekends; strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for family-centered care.

Qualificações

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Must possess licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• AHA accredited BLS and PALS

• Participating in pain management for children
• Administer medications, draw blood, and give childhood vaccinations following age-appropriate guidelines
• Monitor temperature, pulse, breathing, and blood pressure and keep accurate records
• Evaluate children for signs and symptoms of abuse
• Provide supportive care to dying children
• Deal with the anxieties and demands of parents and help families deal with their child’s illness or injury
• Remain up to date on the latest developments, rules and regulations, drug therapies, equipment and treatment procedures.

What You'll Be Doing

Duties may include communicating with children of different abilities and developmental levels about their symptoms, talking to patients and their families about medical issues and recording the child’s vital signs and lab results.

What We're Looking For

Previous Pediatric Experience Preferred.
