Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic's Martin South Hospital in Stuart, FL, a 100-bed facility delivering world-class patient care. As an RN in the Progressive Care Unit, you will monitor telemetry, care for acutely ill patients stepped down from ICU, and collaborate with physicians and caregivers in a family-oriented environment.

This night shift role runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; you will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ALS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One year of current acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
