Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring in Kings Mountain for a Nursing Progressive Care role. The unit is a 33-bed medical-surgical/progressive care setting where nurses collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation services, care management, and pharmacy to deliver patient-centered care.

Position requires BSN (preferred) and active RN license with BLS. Typical schedule is full-time (36 hours weekly) with an every third weekend commitment and self-scheduling to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience (typical).
• Active RN license and BLS certification required.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved program (BSN preferred).

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the team.
• Maintain safety culture and timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain certifications.
