Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for a 24-bed PCU unit serving oncology and progressive surgical patients. This 13-week assignment requires an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and EPIC charting experience.
Night shifts are 12 hours, with a high level of acuity and a frequent need to float to different floors. Candidates must have at least 2 years in a large urban hospital and be willing to work weekends and major holidays as staffing demands dictate.

Description:This 24-bed unit serves adult progressive surgical, oncology, palliative care, and progressive acute care patients receiving chemotherapy.Travelers are first to float to meet hospital staffing needs, including a higher patient-to-nurse ratio for lower acute patients.RNs must have experience in managing infusions and drips.Staffing includes CNAs, care techs, and transport teams.LPNs may be assigned on some floors.Travelers must work 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays.During winter holidays, travelers are required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must be located more than 100 miles from the facility.Pending licenses are accepted, but a fully licensed RN is preferred.Scrubs are mandatory, and specific colors and branding are required.Candidates can obtain a parking permit or use daily rate parking options.This facility is recognized as a leading institution, providing care to complex patients through a team of expert healthcare professionals.
