Description:Position requires a Registered Nurse for Progressive Care Unit.The clinician must have strong telemetry or Intermediate Care experience.The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-6.Experience in the field must include 1 year within the last 3 years in PCU or IMC.First-time travelers accepted.Weekend requirements include every other weekend but not guaranteed.Certifications required are BLS and ACLS.The clinician may float to meet facility needs.Floating may include other areas as needed.The float pool supports all adult inpatient units.This includes a variety of specialties including Emergency, Intensive Care, and rehabilitation.Team members are expected to be flexible and knowledgeable in adult inpatient care.The position involves managing telemetry and the care of patients with various conditions.The team provides support to different levels of care units.This may include rapid response and patient care management.The unit is staffed with interdisciplinary support services.Various medical conditions and treatments are addressed within this role.Candidates should have experience with heart monitoring, dyspnea management, and dysrhythmia management.Additionally, experience with cardiac drips and non-invasive airway management is necessary.The position may require management of various patient care protocols.Experience with computerized documentation is also necessary.Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective teamwork.Ability to adapt to changing environments and patient care needs is required.Candidates must adhere to infection control protocols and safety measures.Overall, the role demands a dedicated and skilled professional committed to patient care excellence.
