Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for the PCU on nights. The position is a 13-week assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. A valid IndianaRN or compact license is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

The unit is stepdown with a 3-4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on Progressive Care and 4-5:1 on Med/Surg. Float to other units as needed and training/orientation will be provided. Experience in Stepdown or Med/Tele is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Stepdown or Med/Tele experience required.
• BLS thru AHA required.
• ACLS required.
• Indiana RN or compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Travelers are required to attend the training program and receive orientation on the unit.
• Floating to other units is required as needed.
• Epic is used as the charting system in this role.

Description:The unit has a total of 12 beds.The nurse to patient ratio is 3-4:1 on Progressive Care and 4-5:1 on Medsurg.Travelers are required to attend the training program and receive orientation on the unit.Floating to other units is required as needed.Drip titration experience is required for those who are comfortable with it; otherwise, floating to Medsurg or Tele units will occur.Epic is used as the charting system in this role.The dress code consists of Caribbean blue scrubs.
