Description:This position supports the Adult Inpatient Division.Travelers will be preassigned to a primary unit but will float based on staffing needs.Preassigned units may change as census, acuity, and staffing needs evolve.Common diagnoses include stroke evaluation, chest pain, arrhythmias, CHF, sepsis, respiratory failure, AKI, GI bleeding, altered mental status, postoperative care, and other medical/PCU diagnoses.Travelers should be comfortable with CPAP, high-flow oxygen, telemetry monitoring, ECGs, and escalation of rhythm or clinical changes.Scheduling is based on division staffing needs and requires flexibility.Minimum of 4 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule.Holiday coverage is based on hospital need.The ideal candidate is an experienced, adaptable PCU nurse.Candidates should be comfortable floating and able to quickly integrate into different inpatient teams while providing safe, high-quality care.Epilepsy monitoring experience is a plus but not required.
