Job summary

Penn State Health seeks a Coordinator Patient Throughput – Patient Logistics to coordinate resources to expedite patient flow from a clinical perspective. Works with interdisciplinary team to facilitate patient placement and improve capacity.

Requires RN license with 3 years nursing experience; BSN preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, and project management skills. Role includes process improvement and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years' experience in Nursing required.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, from a clinical perspective, the resources to expedite patient flow.
• Interact regularly with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate patient placement.
• Identify, facilitate, and implement process changes to improve patient flow and facility capacity.
