Job summary

Qualifications

• Responsible for interactions between centralized patient placement, staffing, physicians, and internal and external customers.
• Overseer of patient flow for direct admissions and all transfers.
• Coordinates placement decisions for all facilities based on facility volume, clinical acuity, physician discretion, and available services.
• Documents interactions with internal and external customers in a timely, appropriate, and thorough manner.
• Flexibility between days and nights and day rotations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Make patient flow prioritization and placement decisions for all entities within the Willis Knighton Health System.
• Represent the health system in dealings with outside facilities and physician offices.
• Utilize all critical resources within the organization to assure appropriate placement of patients in a timely manner.
