Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Patient Management Coordinator to serve as the central point of coordination across ED, clinics, and hospital departments to optimize patient movement and bed utilization.

The role requires RN licensure in Mississippi, 3+ years of RN experience, and de-escalation training. You will collaborate with Nursing leadership, House Supervisors, and CSO Staffing Coordinators to address capacity and ensure smooth admissions and transfers.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• De-escalation training required by end of orientation (90 days).
• 3+ years RN experience preferred with bed management exposure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bed assignments and bed utilization across all campuses.
• Manage admissions, transfers, discharges, and direct admits to promote flow.
• Identify bed availability issues and coordinate with leadership to resolve capacity challenges.
