Job summary

Singing River Health System seeks a Patient Management Coordinator to act as the central point for coordinating patient flow across ED, procedural areas, clinics, and nursing leadership. You will manage bed assignments and utilization across three campuses, ensuring timely bed readiness and transfers.

The role requires an RN license in Mississippi with at least 3 years of nursing experience, de-escalation training, and strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• At least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Must have de-escalation training by orientation (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bed assignments and bed utilization across three campuses.
• Manage admissions, internal transfers, discharges and direct admits.
• Identify bed availability issues and coordinate capacity with leadership.
• Serve as central point of coordination between ED, clinics, and departments.
