The Patient Management Coordinator at Singing River Health System will serve as the central point of coordination across the ED, procedural areas, clinics, and registration to facilitate patient movement throughout the health system. They will manage bed assignments and bed utilization across three campuses, promoting timely bed preparation and readiness.

Qualificações

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• Must have de-escalation training completed by orientation (90 days).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate between the ED, procedural areas, clinics, external organizations, registration, nursing, case management, providers, EVS and other key departments to facilitate patient movement.
• Manage bed assignments and bed utilization across three campuses, including admissions, transfers, discharges and direct admits.
• Promote timely bed preparation and readiness; identify bed availability issues and coordinate with leadership to address capacity challenges.
