Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient placement and bed utilization across hospitals.
• Serve as liaison to facilitate prompt bed assignment and issue resolution.
• Balance unit census, patient acuity, and staff availability.
• Collaborate with EVS to ensure timely room turnover and readiness.
• Assign beds based on clinical need and service coverage.
• Oversee bed tracking systems and update patient information.
• Partner with capacity and throughput leaders to improve throughput.
• Analyze throughput reports and recommend improvements.
• Attend daily huddles to communicate bed availability.
• Support safety goals and regulatory requirements in bed management.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing management and bed systems.
