Abbott is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Bristol, VA team as a per-diem Trainer for Acelis Connected Health home testing customers. The role focuses on hands-on, Face-2-Face training for finger-stick blood collection, PT/INR equipment, and reporting responsibilities.

Travel to patient homes is required within the trainer’s general geographic area. Qualifications include an active RN license and clinical experience; anticoagulation/homecare exposure preferred.

Qualificações

• The Trainer must have clinical experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN).
• Direct experience/exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• Health education/training experience is a definite plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.
• Completion of assigned educational prerequisites required.
• Health screening documentation proof required.
• Web-based and interactive training provided by Acelis Connected Health.
• Successful completion of a consumer report and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have computer and smart device proficiency.
• Must own a personal laptop or desktop computer to complete company requirements.
• Printer access is required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting basic websites and apps on smart devices.
• Travel a minimum of 100 miles roundtrip required.
• Florida trainers only – additional background step required for Florida.

Responsabilidades

• Remotely set up training appointments directly with the customer/caregiver.
• Travel to the customer’s home within the trainer’s general geographic location.
• Demonstrate and instruct use and care of PT/INR equipment to customer and caregiver.
• Explain test reporting options to customer.
• Present yourself professionally and communicate clearly.
• Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically.
• Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health via cell, email, and internet.
• Use encrypted email for PHI-related communications.
• Ensure reliable transportation for patient visits.
