Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem RN trainer to provide personalized Face-2-Face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers on finger stick blood sampling, PT/INR devices, and reporting responsibilities. The role is remote-based with travel to customer homes within your geographic area.

Open locations include RN positions in Medford, NY; Bronx, NY; Levittown, NY. Candidates must be current Registered Nurses with clinical experience; experience in anticoagulation/homecare is

Qualifications

• Must have clinical experience and be a current registered nurse.
• Direct experience with anticoagulation management or homecare preferred.
• Health education training experience a definite plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointments with customers or caregivers.
• Travel to customers' homes within the trainer's geographic area.
• Demonstrate and instruct on proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options.
• Document and submit training records electronically.
• Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health via phone, email and internet.
• Use encrypted email for PHI.
• Have reliable transportation.
