Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in the state(s) where practicing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, additional certifications may be needed based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Uphold a culture of safety and maintain timely documentation in the EHR.
• Float to other units or facilities as needed to meet patient care needs.
