The role follows NMH standards, adheres to ethics, ensures safety, and supports patient advocacy. Requires NLN-accredited program graduate, BSN or higher, IL RN license, BLS, strong communication, and data entry skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current State of Illinois RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association.
• Analytic ability (conceptual and quantitative).
• Oral, listening and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advocates for patient-centered care and develops individualized plans of care.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to advance patient plan of care.
• Continuously enhances clinical expertise and shares knowledge with team.
• Ensures safe environment and effective handoffs at bedside.
