Job summary

Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, administering medications, supporting emergent care, and educating patients and families while adhering to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and reports changes to the care team.
• Administers medications and documents administration per standards of practice.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Collaborates with the care team to implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities as appropriate.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Monitors and operates medical equipment and ensures patient safety.
• Participates in audits, chart reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrates professional development to maintain clinical competency.
• Provides care across multiple RN specialty areas (Critical Care, Emergency, OR, Cardiac Surgery, Endoscopy, Obstetrics, Oncology, Orthopedics, PACU, NICU, Telemetry, Dialysis, Cath Lab).
