Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care across multiple specialized units, including critical care and emergency services. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care per physician orders and clinical protocols, while coordinating with physicians, nurses, and teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires strong assessment and documentation, medication administration, and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN - Registered Nurse state licensure and/or compact state licensure required
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Utilizes knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care and education.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
