AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift in North Kansas City, MO. You will adhere to medication safety policies, maintain professional rapport with physicians, patients and families, and participate in practice changes based on performance improvement activities.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's in Nursing, NCLEX/pass active license, and at least 2 years in acute care.

Qualifications

• Must have NCLEX pass and/or an active nursing license.
• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to medication safety policies.
• Maintains professional rapport with physicians, patients, and families.
• Evaluates the nursing plan of care.
• Communicates patient responses to the medical nursing plan to team members.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Demonstrates accurate documentation and monitoring.
• Follows CDC isolation guidelines and handwashing policies.
• Records and accesses patient information in electronic medical records.
• Sets and achieves patient goals based on assessment and diagnosis.
