AdventHealth North Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. You will adhere to medication safety policies, maintain professional rapport with physicians, patients and families, and support the nursing care plan with precise documentation and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), 2+ years of acute care experience, and an active NCLEX license.

Qualifications

• Must have NCLEX pass letter and/or active license.
• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Additional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the unit/state.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to medication safety policies.
• Maintains professional rapport with physicians, patients, and families.
• Evaluates the nursing plan of care.
• Communicates patient responses to the nursing plan to the team.
• Participates in practice changes from performance improvement.
• Demonstrates accurate documentation and monitoring.
• Follows CDC isolation guidelines and handwashing policies.
• Records and accesses patient information in electronic medical records.
• Assists providers with bedside procedures.
