Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS within six months for certain units.
• BSN preferred for hires post-2010.
• No prior experience required; ongoing education encouraged.
• Certification in specialty areas encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments and prioritize problems.
• Diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Develop and communicate care plans with the care team.
• Administer interventions based on evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with team using SBAR and handoffs.
• Ensure patient safety and respond to emergencies.
• Document and maintain records in the EMR.
