Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care in a team-based environment. You will evaluate patients, participate in care planning, and educate patients and families while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other-nursing staff to deliver evidence-based nursing care, discharge planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN must hold current Ohio nursing license.
• BLS certification is required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS is required within 6 months for step-down/ICU areas.
• BSN within 5 years of hire is required for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient, family and environment for safety risks.
• Communicate the plan of care using SBAR and handoff processes.
• Initiate discharge planning upon admission and make appropriate referrals.
• Provide ongoing education to patient and family.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and evidence-based projects.

Education
