Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio nursing license is required.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for step-down/ICU.
• BSN within 5 years of hire; AD/Diploma nurses may be hired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, plan and coordinate care with the team.
• Communicate using SBAR and handoff processes.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid, precise actions.
• Document care accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in leadership, professional development and unit initiatives.
