Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Ohio is seeking a registered nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. The RN will assess patients, plan and implement care, and coordinate with physicians, families, and other health professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within our model of care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, SBAR communications, discharge planning, and education.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down/ICU areas
• BSN preferred or required by unit (MSN/DNP not required)

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments and develop care plans with the team.
• Communicate plan of care via SBAR and handoff processes.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals as needed.
• Respond to emergencies with swift, precise actions.
• Ensure infection control and safety measures across care delivery.
• Document nursing care accurately in the EMR.
