Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma required.
• BSN in progress and/or plan to complete within 3 years of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong teamwork, and commitment to education.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate the plan of care with physicians and support services.
• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based protocols and document in the EMR.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning technology and ensure safe delivery.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
