Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Adhere to ethics, communicate effectively, and delegate tasks appropriately within the team.
• May float to other units within the service area to meet patient care needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care, supporting growth and development as per department standards.
