Job summary

Wellstar Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for daytime hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm in Georgia. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care as part of the patient care team, coordinating with physicians and staff to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Emphasis on safety, confidentiality, and professional standards. Responsibilities include documenting patient conditions, supporting performance improvements, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Associates or diploma in nursing; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in state or compact.
• BLS certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with independent judgement.
• Maintain documentation of patient assessments, changes in condition, and care delivered.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and professional growth.
