Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the patient care team in Georgia. The role involves assessing and planning patient care, implementing the plan, and evaluating outcomes while maintaining a compassionate, family-centered approach.

The RN will collaborate with providers and staff, participate in performance improvement, and ensure confidentiality and safety. Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities for professional growth and leadership involvement.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelor's in Nursing (Preferred).
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• BLS certification required; Instructor or Basic Life Support accepted.
• RN license: Single State or Compact (multi-state) requirement.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, evaluates, and contributes to patient care plans.
• Communicates care plans with the patient care team and family as appropriate.
• Ensures safe, effective care per policy and documents patient status and changes.
• Supports performance improvement and professional development within the nursing team.
• Upholds confidentiality, safety, and professional standards in all duties.
