Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the patient care team for day shift assignments. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring a compassionate environment for patients and families.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and a Georgia RN license or valid multi-state compact license. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required in select units. 1 year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current GA RN license or valid multi-state compact license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related area.
• Current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable to unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing services by working with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Serve as intermediary between patient, family, and providers to support care delivery.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
• Support Shared Governance through councils or sponsored activities.
