Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Day shift (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm) to join the patient care team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while supporting a compassionate, patient- and family-centered environment.

The role requires active RN licensure (single state or compact) and BLS certification. Candidates should be prepared to participate in performance improvement initiatives and uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or diploma in nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, examines, and evaluates patient conditions and implements the care plan.
• Delivers care per plan and coordinates with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Documents patient assessments, condition changes, care delivered, and any incidents per policy.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and maintains confidentiality and safety standards.
