Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the patient care team. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, acting as a liaison between patients, families and providers to promote quality outcomes.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. The RN will participate in performance improvement, maintain competency, mentor others, and uphold confidentiality and safety while supporting shared governance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RN licensure in GA (or Compact) required per hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire or as stated by policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure timely patient flow and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, plans, and changes.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and uphold confidentiality and safety standards.
