Job summary

FlexStaff is seeking a registered nurse to perform age-specific care using the nursing process in a dynamic clinical setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians and health team members.

You will coordinate discharge planning, provide patient education, and ensure safety and quality in care delivery. CT/NY nursing license and BLS are required, with 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1–2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in NY and/or CT.
• BLS required; specialized certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status using nursing process.
• Coordinate care with physicians and health team members.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure safe, effective care.
