Job summary

FlexStaff is seeking a registered nurse in New York to provide age-specific care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and exercise clinical judgment.

Responsibilities include assessing physiologic and psychosocial health, planning and implementing care, documenting accurately, and guiding discharge planning. Requires NY RN license, BLS, and 1-2 years of experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient’s physiologic health status; conducts interviews, reviews charts, and documents findings.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team to coordinate procedures and treatments.
• Identifies patient outcomes and develops individualized care plans.
• Implements care plans and monitors patient safety, administering treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in discharge planning and coordinates referrals; provides patient education.
