Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Tucson seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts. You will implement and monitor care plans, document patient status, and ensure orders are accurately followed to support safe, effective treatment.

The role includes assessing patients, coordinating discharge planning, and establishing daily goals with patients and families, following hospital policies and protocols. Arizona licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of RN experience.
• Arizona Nursing License or compact state license with ability to obtain AZ license in 30 days.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per established policies and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; document and communicate status.
• Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated care.
• Notes and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
• Perform initial, re-, and focused assessments; establish daily goals.
