Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Tucson, AZ seeks an RN to provide direct nursing care in line with established policies and procedures. You will implement and monitor care plans and coordinate interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes assessment, problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation, with focus on discharge planning and documentation to support continuity of care. BLS certification is required, and a one-year RN background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active Arizona nursing license or compact state license with ability to obtain Arizona license within 30 days.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Heart Association certifications as department requires.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate disciplines for well-coordinated care.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Document care in the patient record and ensure patient safety.
