Job summary
AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a registered nurse to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the medical team. You will administer medications, document care, and monitor outcomes in a safe, compliant environment.
The role emphasizes teamwork, patient education, infection control, and continuous professional development. Requires RN licensure, Associate’s degree (BSN preferred), BLS, and strong English communication.
Qualifications
- RN licensure required in the state of practice.
- Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physiological and psychosocial needs.
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor responses.
- Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
- Document care activities and outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care.
- Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
