Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – All Shifts

Location: Kern River Transitional Care Center – Bakersfile, CA

Salary Range: $42-$46hr BOE

Schedule: Part-Time | NOC

Shifts Available

Join our dedicated care team at Kern River Transitional Care Center! We are currently hiring compassionate and professional Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver high-quality care and support to our residents. Our mission is to promote healing, wellness, and dignity through skilled and personalized care.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs to provide the best care and support
• Observe and document symptoms, reporting changes to physicians promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans
• Perform essential nursing procedures (e.g., vitals, injections, wound care)
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Maintain hygiene and safety protocols across the facility
• Provide emergency response and support during critical situations
• Train and supervise LPNs and CNAs as needed
• Foster a compassionate and respectful environment for residents and families
• Participate in continuing education and staff development initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Current and valid RN license in the state of California
• Proven experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or hospital settings preferred
• Strong understanding of nursing care practices and emergency response
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
• Team-oriented, empathetic, and dependable
• Committed to following safety and infection control standards
