Job summary

Tower Behavioral Health in Reading, PA is hiring part-time Registered Nurses to join our psych-safety focused facility, with duties spanning pre/post ECT care, patient monitoring and collaborative treatment planning. The role emphasizes patient safety, professionalism, and empathy.

The position offers day shifts Mon/Wed/Fri, 7:30am-3:30pm, with no weekends, and provides ongoing in-house training and certifications. Competitive compensation with shift differentials applies.

Qualifications

• Current RN License as required by state.
• Current ACLS certification and Current IV Certification required.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide education about the ECT procedure and obtain understanding from patient/family.
• Pre-treatment assessment, treatment monitoring and post-anesthesia recovery management.
• Participate in development and evaluation of nursing practices in the ECT suite.
• Monitor data sources to determine health issues, status and safety concerns.
• Communicate patient condition and need for altered care with the treatment team.
• Monitor pulse oximetry, oxygen saturation and EKG; ensure safe recovery.
