Job summary

Acadia Healthcare’s Tower Behavioral Health in Reading, PA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-week temporary assignment with potential to convert to full-time. The day shift runs 7:00 am–7:30 pm on a 3 x 12-hour schedule with every-other-weekend rotation.

Compensation is $65 per hour, with no travel stipends or benefits for this temporary position. Responsibilities include assessing and planning patient care, implementing nursing plans, maintaining records, and coordinating care within state

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license as required by state of employment or eligible to practice.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance use nursing a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available on hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
