Job summary

Tower Behavioral Health in Reading, PA is expanding and seeks passionate Registered Nurses to join our nursing team in a state-of-the-art psych-safe facility. We offer FT night shifts (3x12s) with every 3rd weekend rotation and a $10k sign-on bonus.

We provide inpatient and outpatient programs for adults, adolescents, and seniors, with tuition assistance and career advancement opportunities. Competitive pay with shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, and access to Tower Health physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current RN license as required by state.
• One or more years’ nursing experience in the facility’s clinical area preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and educate patients and families.
• Provide nursing care and services within nursing practice standards and facility policies.
• Ensure physician’s orders are legible and transcribed correctly.
• Continuously assess patient status and document pertinent information.
• Collaborate with the team to meet patients’ biopsychosocial needs and address concerns.
• Notify physician of significant changes in status or emergencies.
