Job summary

Tower Behavioral Health in Reading, PA is seeking Registered Nurses to join our nursing team in a state-of-the-art psych-safe facility. The full-time day shift runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, with no weekend duties.

This role supports pre- and post-treatment care of patients undergoing ECT and collaborates with the treatment team to monitor cardiac and respiratory status. We offer ongoing trainings, competitive pay with shift differentials, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in Pennsylvania.
• ACLS and IV certifications required.
• CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required depending on state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about the ECT procedure and obtain understanding from patient and family.
• Perform pre-treatment assessments and monitoring during ECT.
• Support nursing practices and ECT suite operations within the clinical setting.
• Use data sources to assess health status and safety concerns.
• Communicate patient condition and need for altered care with the treatment team.
• Monitor pulse oximetry, oxygen saturation and EKG during treatment and recovery.
