Sierra Valley Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team. The RN is responsible for supervising the day‑to‑day nursing activities of the facility and ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Assist with the overall supervision and management of nursing staff. The RN is delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties.
The work environment is a healthcare setting where the employee may be exposed to infectious diseases, chemicals, and other healthcare‑related conditions. The noise level is typically low to moderate. The RN may be required to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
