Oxford Surgery center is hiring RN professionals for the PACU, willing to train RNs with Med Surg, ER, ICU experience, or new graduates. This fast-paced, multi-specialty center serves Sports Medicine, Total Joint, Ortho Spine, ENT, Ophthalmology and General Surgery.
Weekdays only, no weekends, holidays or calls. The RN PACU team delivers care across preoperative to postoperative phases, follows physician orders, and manages supplies and center policies.
Willing to train RN with experience in Med Surg, ER, ICU, or a new graduate!
Fast paced, busy multi-specialty surgery center. Successful programs in Sports Medicine, Total Joint, Ortho Spine, ENT, Ophthalmology, and General Surgery.
The RN PACU initiates the delivery of patient care through the framework of the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis and patient outcome) in the preoperative, interoperative and postoperative phase of the surgical patient. Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in a same day surgery setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and centers policies. Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
