Job summary

Oxford Surgery center is seeking an RN to work in the PACU, with training available for RNs from Med-Surg, ER, ICU, or new graduates. This fast-paced, multi-specialty surgery center handles Sports Medicine, Total Joint, Ortho Spine, ENT, Ophthalmology, and General Surgery.

The RN PACU delivers patient care using the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases, supporting patients and centers according to physician orders and policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Initiates the nursing process for patients in preoperative, interoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assists in providing nursing care in a same-day surgery setting and adheres to physician orders and center policies.
