Job summary

Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress is hiring a RN PACU to provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia in outpatient GI procedures. The role involves assessment, planning, and coordination to ensure safe discharge.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN program, hold an active RN license in California, and maintain BLS and ACLS; PALS if required. Prior PACU or critical care experience preferred; weekdays only; no holidays, weekends, or on-call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years' experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Welcome to Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress

We have 1 OR rooms and 3 Procedure room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
