Cynet Health is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to support post-anesthesia care across diverse procedures. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in PACU, an active RN license, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.
You will handle a rotating schedule of day/night shifts with call coverage and stay within 30 minutes of the unit when called. Responsibilities include airway management, pain and nausea control, and monitoring hemodynamics with various anesthesia recoveries.

Must-Have: Experience with Client Post Anesthesia Recovery including General, Regional, and Conscious Sedation recovery for all age ranges and patient types.
Description:Ideal candidates will have a strong background in post anesthesia care.Candidates will work three twelve-hour shifts per week.Call coverage is required in a current rotation.This includes 2-3 weeknight call shifts in a four-week schedule.Every fourth weekend coverage is also required.Shifts will rotate monthly between day and night.Candidates must be within 30 minutes of the unit when called.Knowledge of drains, including cranial, spinal, hemovacs, and chest tubes is required.Airway management experience is essential, including OAW, NAW, OETT, and extubation.Experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, and OETT care is necessary.Candidates should be knowledgeable about hemodynamic monitoring.Understanding of malignant hyperthermia is crucial.Candidates must have experience with post-operative pain management, nausea management, and blood pressure medications.Familiarity with medications used during general anesthesia is required.Candidates should be adept in the initiation and maintenance of various drips, including heparin, sedation, and pressors.Experience with fundal massages and post-partum hemorrhage management is needed.Knowledge of common obstetric complications and their management is important.Bladder irrigation maintenance skills are necessary.Candidates should be skilled in post-operative carotid care, including neuro assessments and sheath removal.Experience with site monitoring and maintenance/removal of A-lines is required.Candidates will encounter a diverse range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties.Common surgeries include cranial procedures, thoracotomies, traumas, and various pediatric procedures.OB/GYN procedures and cardiac interventions will also be part of the role.Orthopedic and neurological procedures, as well as general surgeries, are included in responsibilities.Urology procedures and plastic surgeries may be part of the workload.Candidates will assist with PACU procedures such as cardioversions and blood patches.Experience in a similar care setting is essential.Shifts are primarily during the day from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
