Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in New Mexico is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic. You will prepare patients for visits, support efficient patient flow, and assist the provider with treatments and procedures.

Responsibilities include medication refills, telephone triage, and collaboration with clinic staff. Must hold a NM or Compact license and BLS; opportunities for tuition reimbursement and loan forgiveness are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing is required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• NM state nursing license or Compact State license required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for nurse visits in ambulatory care setting.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for telephone triage in ambulatory care setting.
• Responsible for medication refill management as an agent of the provider using nursing protocols.
• Other duties as required by the clinic
