Job summary

Essentia Health’s St. Mary’s Hospital in Superior, WI, is hiring a Registered Nurse for Outpatient Surgery. The role covers day shifts, floating to Duluth outpatient surgery depts as needed, with 64 hours per pay period.

Dual MN/WI licensure required; BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines. The ideal candidate has BSN or ADN, RN outpatient surgery experience preferred, and will work 8-hour shifts starting at 5:00–10:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment.
• BCLS certification within one month.
• ACLS certification within one year.
• PALS certification within one year.
• One year of RN Outpatient Surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Floating to Duluth outpatient surgery depts as needed following established guidelines (dual MN/WI licensure).
• Provide nursing care across assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Day shift coverage with eight-hour shifts.
